We’re passionate about helping you grow and make an impact.

Jerry Beerman

Co-Founder

Jerry Beerman has owned and operated Alluring Glass since 2008. Alluring Glass is committed to building up people as they execute best in class installation of shower glass and mirrors in the Greater Cincinnati Region.

Over 10 years ago, Jerry recognized that many remodeling contractors had similar struggles running their businesses as his own. Even the owners who looked like they had their act together were challenged by various leadership and business issues. Jerry set out to provide an organically formed group to encourage and help resource his friends as each navigated constraints holding back their businesses. Conduit was founded to provide a community of industry peers to be mentored, encouraged and equipped through workshops, small groups and podcasts.

Jerry also founded CAP (Conduit Apprenticeship Program) as a 501c3. CAP volunteers mentor over 200 high school students to open their eyes to careers in the trades and works to find them opportunities for internships and full-time employment in high quality businesses.

Paul Bauscher

Co-Founder

Paul’s passionate belief and personal experience is that your business can serve your life and values instead of the other way around. For over 20 years, this has driven Paul as a business owner and feeds his commitment to helping owners realize their vision for life and business.

Paul owned and operated a successful construction and remodeling business for more than 23 years and had a successful exit in 2020.  Like every small business owner he wore a lot of hats and was challenged to balance it all. These struggles and those of his friends fueled his interest in becoming a Coach to small business owners.

Paul began EnSight Coaching to help all business owners lead a business and a life they love. It is possible, and yes it's hard work, but with a coach in your corner you can build the business you always dreamed of and reignite your entrepreneurial fire.

Paul has volunteered as a Conduit coach for years and now has joined the team to grow our impact on small trades business owners.

Kelly Dolan

Co-Founder

Kelly Dolan is a seasoned entrepreneur driven by the belief that business can and should be a force for positive change. With over 25 years in the professional services industry, Kelly has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of combining skilled people, efficient processes, technology, and a clear sense of purpose within a business.

In 2011, Kelly began her entrepreneurial journey by founding Ingage Partners, the first Certified B Corporation in Cincinnati. Ingage specializes in helping clients overcome complex business challenges through innovative technology solutions.

Several years later, Kelly co-founded Thrive Impact Sourcing (now Ingage Thrive Accelerator), aimed at identifying, training, mentoring, and launching new professionals into IT careers.

Kelly's commitment to employee ownership and community-driven business practices led her and her business partner to sell Ingage to its employees as an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Afterward, they established Revision Collective, a holding company dedicated to expanding the ESOP by acquiring businesses that share their values and vision.

Kelly is thrilled to bring her collective experiences to grow the Conduit community and help to be part of the transformation of the trades and the lives within.

Why We Exist

The trades are in a potentially transformative period between the silver tsunami and a declining base of young people choosing to pursue an expensive college education.  When we professionalize the trades and shift its image towards a meaningful and lucrative career as it has the potential to be, we change the industry for generations to come.  Conduit is on a mission to reach more businesses for a greater impact.  Training, equipping and connecting specialty trades business owners, committed to building legacy businesses, is the reason Conduit exists.

Our Journey

Jerry and Paul have invited their friends in the trades together since 2016. They recognized an unmet need in the specialty trades industry for building community, peer accountability and professional development for these entrepreneurs and so they passionately provided a solution. One of the critical needs of these businesses is access to talent. The Conduit community looked for a solution and with an investment from Jerry and others, CAP was created.

CAP (Conduit Apprenticeship Program) equips young people to work with their hands and establish a strong work ethic, while opening doors for them to pursue meaningful and lucrative careers in the trades. Today, CAP is a 501c3 working to build a talent pipeline of well equipped trades professionals.

In 2024, Conduit was relaunched as an official company to provide high quality training and professional resources to business owners of specialty trades companies committed to building a legacy. Together, we will transform the trades.
